Additional Property Attributes

The Phase I ESA recommended the completion of a Phase II due to historical uses on the property. Insufficient grant funding exists to conduct the work. Under the Marion Central Corridor Master Plan, the site is highlighted for future mixed-use development. The housing/office space will be located along a 10-foot multi-purpose trail connecting the area to downtown Marion.

Former Use: The property contained residential development from approximately 1905 to 1949. The property contained commercial development from 1950 until the present. Past uses include a heating and sheet metal shop in 1963, a cabinent shop in 1968, a warehouse from 1978-1993, and a metal fabrication business from 1998 to the present.
