Additional Property Attributes

The property identified as the V6 Property the Property located at 501 South Harvey Avenue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. According to the Oklahoma County Assessor, the Property is currently comprised of two legal descriptions see Section 2.1. Historically, the Property has been comprised of several addresses, including 300 through 328 SW 4th Street, 301 through 329 SW 5th Street, 501 through 531 South Harvey Avenue, and 500 through 524 South Hudson Avenue. The Property consists of approximately 2.75 acres within the northeast quarter of Section 4, Township 11 North,Range 3 West. The Property is currently used as the Salvation Army facility, which provides housing, meals, and clothing for homeless individuals and families. The following buildings are presently designated for the following uses: Administrative Building: Administrative services for entire facility Women�s and Family Care Center: Housing quarters for women and children Chapel: Religious ceremonies Men�s Lodge and Welfare Center: Housing quarters for men food preparation and serving for entire facility, and Maintenance Services Building: Salvation Army storage of general supplies. A loading dock is present on the south end of the building.

Former Use: Historical sources indicate the Property was utilized for residential purposes from at least 1894 until the early 1900s. In the early 1900s,commercial structures began to be constructed on the block. Specifically, grocery stores and a feed store were present on the eastern portion of the Property until the early 1940s. At that time, the grocery store on the southeast corner of the block was converted into a petroleum filling station, which existed on the Property until at least 1969. It is believed that what is currently known as the Maintenance Services Building was constructed in the late 1960s or early 1970s. From the early until the late 1960s,an auto parts rebuilding warehouse existed on the northeastern corner of the block. The Salvation Army began to build its facility on the block in the early 1950s. The Administrative Building was constructed in 1951, followed by the Men�s Lodge and Welfare Center in 1961. It is believed that the Salvation Army acquired in the early 1970s what is now known as their Social Services Building, situated on the northeast corner of the block where the auto parts rebuilding facility was located. From at least the early 1970s until the present, the entire Property has been used solely by the Salvation Army.
