Additional Property Attributes

This parcel is part of a 9 acre peninsula that is former County dump. The site is adjacent to open space areas. It will be restored with a 2-foot engineered cap and revegetated with native and/or drought-tolerant plants to attract back native wildlife. It will have trails, benches, and other amenities to create a public bayfront park that will host low-impact passive recreation & environmental/history education programs. These will primarily serve the low-income Latin & African American East Palo Alto community, which faces environmental, education, and social challenges.
