Additional Property Attributes

The owner of the former gas station and current not-for-profit, Yours Inc., has been told that there are six underground gasoline tanks still in place on this site. Future development of the site includes an open air market and marketplace, where local fresh produce and handmade items will be sold to the public. The owner has put renovations on hold over concerns of contamination and exposure of fresh produce and consumers to fumes from hazardous contamination. The project can not continue until contamination has been either ruled out, or identified and remediated. Obtaining an Environmental Site Assessment will help facilitate redevelopment plans.

Former Use: The area of the site is 0.5 acres with a 10,000 square foot building. Past uses of the site have included a gasoline service station, used auto sales, and auto repair.
