Additional Property Attributes

Pima County completed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment ESA of the subject property. This assessment revealed the presence of the following recognized environmental conditions in connection with the subject property: � Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. is assessing residential and commercial structures within the Ajo town site to determine whether historic mining- and smelter-related operations in Ajo have resulted in elevated concentrations of metals in the soil Assessment of the subject property has not been conducted. Prior to new development, additional assessment should be conducted and soil samples should be collected and analyzed for eight RCRA metals to identify potential impacts to soil and/or groundwater. � There is a 55-gallon drum and other chemical containers within a solid waste debris pile located in the northeast portion of the subject property. Stained soil was observed underlying and surrounding the waste pile. Soil samples should be collected and analyzed for volatile organic compounds VOCs, semi-volatile organic compounds SVOCs, and 8 RCRA metals to identify potential impacts to soil and/or groundwater.

Former Use: The Sullivan Property consists of one parcel 401-07-0500 and covers approximately 9.33 acres. There are two structures located on the central portion subject property. The main structure covers approximately 2,500 square feet and is a dilapidated state. The auxiliary structure covers approximately 15 square feet. Public outreach indicates that a Drive-In Movie Theater operated at the subject in the 1950s and there are still remnants of the Drive-In Theater in the eastern portion of the property. Several unpaved roads traverse the subject property.
