Additional Property Attributes

This former school building has been converted into a community center by The Youth and Family Center.

Former Use: On 1/27/11, SLDC subgranted up to 40,000 to Youth and Family Center for asbestos abatement. The contractor performed floor tile and mastic removal from the first and second floors of the facility. The default regulatory oversight authority in this instance is the City of St. Louis Air Pollution Control office. Their rules for floor-tile-only cleanups do not require permits, but most consultants provide a courtesy notification and the consultant did in this case. Asbestos was limited to non-friable floor tile.
