Additional Property Attributes

The Property is located on the NW corner of the intersection of SW 5th and S Robinson Avenue The Property is currently comprised of two buildings on the eastern portion of the Property and vacant land on the western portionTwo two-story buildings, both built in 1928, are located on the PropertyOklahoma Corporation Commission OCC records indicate no current or historic underground storage tanks USTs, aboveground storage tanks ASTs, water wells, groundwater monitoring wells, or other environmentally-significant features have been located on the Property however, Polk City Directories indicate a filling station located on the eastern portion of the Property from 1935 to 1940Lochner, BWR Division identified RECs on the Property in the Phase I ESA. These RECs included an auto repair facility from 1925 to 1930, an auto top store from 1925 to 1930, a filling station from 1935 to 1940,a wool insulation company in 1945, a used auto sales facility from 1945 to 1965, and a tire store from 1950 to 1954.

Former Use: The Property was utilized for residential purposes from at least the late 1800s until the early 1900s,when a commercial structure was located on the northeast corner of the Property. The 1922 Sanborn map shows that the commercial structure was converted into an auto repair facility. It is assumed that this structure was demolished when Buildings 1 and 2 were constructed in 1928. The Property has been used for a number of uses of environmental concern, including an auto repair facility 1925-1930, auto top store 1925-1930, filling station 1935-1940, wool insulation company 1945, used auto sales 1945-1965, and tire store 1950-1954.
