Additional Property Attributes

Teh subject property historically contained barns that were part of the Liberty Hyde Bailey Farm. The Liberty Hyde Bailey Agency wishes to purchase the property and place it in the City of South Havens Parks Department. The existing building was constructed in approximatly 1960 and was used originally as a funeral home, and later as a medical office. It is the desire of the Liberty Hyde Bailey Agency to re-claim this parcel as it is a former part of the Bailey familys land.

Former Use: The subject property is developed with an approximately 4,800 sq. ft. building with basement. The property historically contained barns that were part of the larger Liberty Hyde Bailey Farm. The Liberty Hyde Bailey Museum occupies that adjacent offsite parcel to the east. The subject property was developed as a funeral home in approximately 1960. The current property owner, Dr. Otto Lorenz, redeveloped the building as a doctors office and medical offices.
