Subject property historically developed in the 1860 as the Olds House. Operated as a hotel until the 1970s. From 1970s-2004 utilized as apartment building. Vacant since 2004 subsequent to fire. Jeremiah Smith Enterprises is redeveloping the site with a 2,000 sq. ft. laundromat.

Former Use: The subject property consists of 0.5 acres of land on the main commercial strip for the City of Hartford. The site was developed with a three-story hotel in the 1860s. The site continued to be utilized as a hotel/restaurant into the 1970s. From approximately 1975-2004 the site was utilized as a 12 unit apartment building. Subsquent to a fire in 2004 the building was razed and the property has been vacant since that time.
