Additional Property Attributes

Property owner originally desired to perform a cleanup of the property in order to receive an NFA from the LDEQ. He has since informed or office that due to health reasons he has decided to sell the property as-is. The prospective purchaser contacted our office and notified us that he was filing the mortgage and conveyance notices.

Former Use: Former concrete plant that ceased operations in the 1990's. A Phase I performed by a prospective purchaser in 2009 identified a UST site, truck bodies and drums, and a diesel spill that was reported in 1991. A subsequent Phase II found TPH-D contamination. Property owner has requested that the Jefferson Parish Brownfields program assist in documenting nature and extent of contamination. Ajacent property "Lot C" will be included in investigation.
