Property Highlights

The Site is a 1.25-acre tract of land that has been improved with a vegetated area on the eastern portion, fenced-in MidAmerican Energy switch on the northwestern portion, and the Hawkeye Ready Mix concrete disposal area and truck wash-out on the southwestern portion.

Former Use: Based on review of the historical information, the site was undeveloped until at least 1950. The site was cleared and graded prior to 1960. There appears to have been uncontrolled filling activity on this site from the 1960's to the 1990's. The site is a 1.25 acre tract of land that is bordered by the Iowa River to the east and 1st Avenue to the west. Currently MidAmerican Energy owns propery found north of this tract and Hawkeye Ready Mix concrete owns property to the south.
