Additional Property Attributes

The Atlanta BeltLine is envisioned as a combination of greenspace, trails, transit, and new development along 22-miles of historic rail segments that encircle the urban core of the City of Atlanta. The Northeast Corridor consists of a 4.6 mile segment extending from Buford Highway to Dekalb Avenue. The Northeast Corridor was sold to a private developer in 2005 and then resold for public use Atlanta BeltLine in 2008 and is currently owned by the Atlanta Development Authority.

Former Use: 4.6 mile RR corridor was owned and operated by railroad companies since the 1800's. In 2005, the site was acquired by a private developer and then in 2008 by the ADA.
