Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: 4.6 mile RR corridor was owned and operated by railroad companies since the late 1800s. In 2005 the site was acquired by a private developer and then in 2008 by the ADA. Phase 1 construction of Atlanta BeltLine trail for a portion of the project corridor began in September 2019 in partnership with Georgia Power and concluded in April 2021. Phase 2 construction to complete trail construction for the length of the project corridor began in May 2022. Construction costs are reported under Project ID 134482. Redevelopment jobs leveraged data reflects temporary construction jobs assuming 7 jobs created per $1M. Most recent EPA review of Cleanup Complete verified Cleanup is completed by site inspection on 4/28/2023. Site Cleanup Completion Record completed on 4/28/2023, Both South Ansley and North Ansley are located on the 4.6 mile RR Corridor.
