Additional Property Attributes

As part of the Atlanta BeltLine, Inc.'s (ABI) due diligence in acquiring property to expand Enota Park, the City's Brownfield Program conducted a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) in the fall of 2011. After the ESA, ABI purchased the former church and property for $240,000. The Atlanta BeltLine Westside Trail now connects directly with park and the park is over 8 acres-this was envisioned in the Park's 2010 Masterplan. The estimate for the Park's expansion, which the property was a key part in providing access to the neighborhood, was $4.5 million. In the summer of 2019, ABI transferred the property assessed by the City's Brownfield Program in 2011 so it can be managed by the City's Department of Parks and Recreation.

Former Use: Property was developed with a church since at least 1993.
