Additional Property Attributes

Meijer, Inc. proposes to redevelop the site with an approximately 192,000 sq. ft. Meijer retail store and 2,640 sq. ft. stand-alone gas station. A combined 250-300 full and part time jobs are anticipated to be created.

Former Use: The subject property consists of eight separate legal parcels occupying approximately 29 acres. Five of the parcels are located in the City of South Haven and three of the parcels are located in South Haven Township. The current parcel configurations and street addresses are the result parcel combination activities that have been conducted over time. Five private residences are located in the southeastern portion of the property, proximal to Phoenix Rd. and CR 388. The Solomon�s Temple is located on the western portion of the property, on Blue Star Highway. The majority of the subject property currently consists of vacant land historically occupied by multiple commercial operations, including: Getman Brothers Construction Company, Pri-Mar Petroleum, and Compton, Inc. Buildings associated with historic commercial operations have been razed.
