Additional Property Attributes

BTA was conducted for the City of Beloit to encourage the reuse of the property. Speculation of buried hazardous substance has been a detriment to the redevelopment of the site. The Citys conceptual plan is to construct five homes on the property. RECs were potential petroleum and hazardous substances associated with: demolition debris buried on the site, which was evident by sinks and voids observed on the site reconnaissance and likely potential for a buried UST on the property and a gas well identified on the property from historical documentation. Due to the identified RECs, a Phase II assessment was conducted. Based on results from the Phase II, no contaminants of concern were detected above KDHE RSK Levels and the property was cleared for redevelopment
