Additional Property Attributes

This is a residential property with a pre-1900 multi-story dwelling that likely contains a variety of hazardous building materials. This property abuts the newmarket Elementary School. The school district would like to acquire the property and demolish the building to facilitate expansion of the elementary school.

Former Use: The property is a residential lot occupied by a multi-story home constructed prior to 1900 and which has been divided into several apartments. The building likely contains hazardous building materials such as asbestos containing materials, PCB containing materials, mercury-containing electrical devices, lead-based paint and potentially PCB-containing paint. This lot has always been residential in nature. It abuts the Newmarket Elementary School which is in need of replacement or expansion.
