Additional Property Attributes

This is a former Odd Fellows Hall Building that is 3-stories tall. The building dates back to the 1800s. From construction though about 1960 the first floor was occupied by varies commercial tenants. The second floor was the meeting space for the loca Masons and the third floor was the meeting space for the Odd Fellows. The building was eventually vacated and sat vacant for a number of years until a local resident bought the building with the intent to convert it into apartments. The building is currently empty. Visual inspection indicated the likely presence of asbestos materials, lead-paint, potential PCB-paint, and miscellaneous other hazardous building materials. There is a petroleum storage tank in the earthen floored cellar.

Former Use: First devloped in the 1800s when the current three-story woodd building was constructed. Uses included miscellaneous commercial tenants on the first floor included a printing business, a Masons meeting hall and an Odd Fellows meeting hall. The building was converted for intended residential use. Vacant for past 10 years. The Town foreclosed on the property for taxes.
