Additional Property Attributes

Division of Oil and Public Safety assessed the former onsite filling station for petroleum issues. CDPHE assessed the asbestos building abatement issue for the TBA applicant.

Former Use: Prior to 1979 the site was the location of a filling station. Exact dates of startup and termination are unknown. The First United Methodist Church purchased the site on June 7, 1979. From 1979 to 1981, B&B Draperies rented the building. From 1981 to 1988, Judith Casias-Duran Attorney at Law rented the building with a grant from the Pueblo County Area Agency of Aging for Senior Legal care. From 1989 to 2000, the building served as the Offices of the District Superintendent of the Sunshine District of the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church. From May 2000 to the present the building is used by the Cooperative Care Center for distribution of clothing for the needy.
