Additional Property Attributes

This is one of the properties OKC is acquiring for the planned 70-acre C2S Central Park. No RECs were identified in the Phase I although the surrounding areas have some potential to impact the property, particularly past USTs.

Former Use: The Property is currently comprised of 5,320 square-foot commercial building on the west side of the Property & a concrete lot on the east side that is currently used for storage. Historic resources indicate the northern portion of the building that is currently on the Property was constructed pre 1920s. Oklahoma County Assessor Records indicate the southern addition to the building was constructed in 1946. The Property was used for residential purposes from the late 1890s until at least 1906. A residential dwelling remained on the eastern portion of the Property until the 1970s. Sometime prior to 1922, the north portion of the existing building on the western portion of the Property was constructed as a bake shop. This building operated as a bake shop from around 1922 until at least 1950. According to Oklahoma County Assessors records, the building was expanded to the south in 1946. During the mid-1950s, the Property was used as a bottle warehouse. In 1960, the warehouse was converted to a decalcomania decorative engraving on pottery warehouse. In the mid-1960s, the Property was used as a bus warehouse in the late 1960s, the Property was utilized as an auto parts warehouse. In the 1970s, the residential dwelling on the eastern portion of the Property was demolished, and the remaining building was used as a cabinet making facility and as an aircraft chock tire stoppers warehouse. From the mid-1980s until the early 1990s, the Property was utilized as storage for the All-American Hearing Aid mold laboratory to the southwest of the Property. From 2000 until the present, the Property has been used as a countertop warehouse and sales office.
