Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Site vicinity has a rich industrial history. The region was extensively placer mined, followed by railroad operations both freight and passenger and all associated railroad services. Historical records reviewed indicate the northwest corner of the Site was developed as early as 1930 with a small building with frontage along the adjoining railroad spur. The remainder of the Site was developed during the early 1960s with a Quonset hut building moved to the Site from Canyon Ferry. The building occupied the majority of the property with the exception of an area along the north boundary. From the mid-1960s to the mid-1980s, the Site was used by the U.S. General Services Administration as their Interagency Motor Pool. Gasoline was dispensed from the Site during this period and automotive maintenance was performed inside the building. current owner of the Site is Joslins Furniture and Carpeting. Previous owners of the Site have included: Thomas Powers Block P LLC, George Neill, and others.
