Additional Property Attributes

Property is owned by Terrebonne Parish County Consolidated Government. The parish acquired the property in the early 1980s. The Phase I was conducted to assist development of the non-profit Wetlands Discovery Center on site. The Phase I also assisted the parish with due diligence to maintain innocent landowner status.

Former Use: Property was part of the Hollywood Plantation as was used in sugar cane cultivation. The property was later acquired by Valhi and then sold to Terrebone Parish Consolidated Government. The property has been recently been vacant, but was previously used as a public soccer field.
