Additional Property Attributes

BTA conducted for the City of Arkansas City for the former South Central Regional Medical Center Hospital. The old hospital building is abandoned and the City has proposed to reuse the building as a library and/or community center. An asbestos site reconnaissance was performed in conjunction to the Phase I site visit to quantify the homogenous building materials so a number of asbestos samples could be established for a NESHAP survey. A NESHAP survey will need to be conducted so the buliding can be renovated or demolished. No RECs were identified in connection with the property, therefore, further assessment is not recommended.

Former Use: hospital complex from approximately 1912-2012
Commercial (3.18)
