Additional Property Attributes

Following a nitric acid release in November 2001, an inspection of the Electro Treatment facility found soil contamination, incompatible storage of chemicals, and chemicals leaking from storage containers. In March 2002, the chemicals were secured on the property by overpacking and the seperation of incompatible chemicals. In July 2003, EPA emergency responders removed dangerous chemicals and emptied a 10,000-gallon tank containing acid. To date, the soil contamination has not been addressed. (PPF - Electro Treatment, 4/14/05)

Former Use: Tribal property leased to Electro Treatment
