Additional Property Attributes

Two possible recognized environmental conditions exist at the property:(1)the prior use of the property as a fruit orchard in the past and the possibility of residues of agricultural chemicals such as lead arsenate in the soil; and (2) an elevated area of fill material of unknown origin. Numerous recognized environomental conditions have been identified on adjoining properties to the southeast and north, including a former wood waste landfill, diesel and petroleum USTs, and evidence of petroleum releases near airplane hangers.

Former Use: Property consists of vacant land and a former airstrip that is currently being used as an access road to an adjoining property�s industrial facility. Property was primarily orchard farmland from 1930s to 1950s at which time an unpaved runway was located on the property along with several residential or farm-typed structures. From 1980 onward the runway appears to have been improved and extended but all structures were removed from the property. In the 1990s, the runway was converted to an access road after airport activities on as adjacent property ceased.
