Additional Property Attributes

Historically, the property was part of a 130-acre site operated by the Exxon Company and this piece is currently vacant.

Former Use: The subject property was used for oil refining from 1893 to the mid 1950s, when the refinery was dismantled. An asphalt plant and bulk petroleum storage remained on the site until 1964, when the asphalt plant was shut down. The asphalt plant was demolished in the late 1970s. The facility was also used for bulk petroleum storage and marketing from 1917 until 1998. The subject property currently is primarily vacant land containing scattered vegetation, concrete rubble, and remnant concrete walls. In the northwestern corner of the property is a controlled-access, paved, parking lot equipped with electric vehicle access gate and pole-mounted area lighting.
