The Former Newsome Chevrolet site encompasses one 10.4-acre parcel (Richland County Parcel No. R11601-05-26) along the north side of West Beltline Boulevard in Columbia, Richland County, SC. The site address is 4013 West Beltline Boulevard. This facility is a vacant former auto dealership, auto parts sales, and auto service center. The site is bound to the north and west by residential properties; to the south by West Beltline Boulevard with a vacant former auto dealership beyond; and to the east by a shopping center.

Former Use: There are currently five vacant structures on-site; all the on-site structures were reportedly constructed in 1968. The former auto showroom and used car sales offices are located on the south side of the site near West Beltline Boulevard. These buildings are approximately 13,200 and 1,300 square feet, respectively. The site slopes to the north-northeast toward the two other on-site structures. The former parts sales/warehouse and vehicle repair shop are connected by a small office area. The parts sales/warehouse is approximately 19,000 square feet, and the vehicle repair building is approximately 10,800 square feet. An approximate 22,700-square foot former auto body shop is located near the northeast site boundary. The balance of the site is asphalt-paved.
