Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site appears to have initially been developed in 1914 with a rectangular brick building, which according to the 1933 Sanborn Map was utilized for Poultry Dressing. It is unclear how long Poultry Dressing operations continued at the Site but by 1954, City Directory Records indicate that Blickle Auto Body was operating at 1900 Douglas Avenue. Blickle Auto Body operated on the Commercial Parcels until 1999 when the Lowrys purchased the Property. The Lowrys began operating Belle City Fire Extinguisher and Equipment in 1999. Belle City Fire Extinguisher and Equipment continues to do business at the Site.
