Additional Property Attributes

The assessment determined that no cleanup is required as there are no contaminants that pose a risk to human health or the environment.

Former Use: There is currently bare land and a large grain elevator silo on the property. The silo has not been considered a multi-story building due to it's continuous cylindar shape although it is much taller than most 6 story buildings. The property was predominantly used for commercial and industrial uses over the years, having been a dry bean plant, feed mill, grain elevator and recycling center. The current owner acquired the property in 1999 to provide job opportunities to those needing assistance through a recycling center that was established on the premises. An arson fire in 2004 destroyed everything but the grain silo itself which is concrete and still standing.
