Additional Property Attributes

The site is currently vacant and underused and redevelopment plans include a mix of retail and residential uses. The Phase II ESA identified limited impacts to soil and groundwater. A majority of the site will be capped as part of the planned site development, and as such, there will be no significant long-term exposure to impacted soil or groundwater.

Former Use: The site consists of 4 parcels along Meeting, Columbus, and Line Streets. At the time of assessment, the parcels were vacant and undeveloped. The site's past development includes the Arctic Ice & Coal Co., Packet Motor Lines/Watkins Motor Lines, and residential. The motor line development included underground storage tanks, an oil/water separator, truck washing area, and truck repair facilities.
