Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The owners utilized the property for equipment and miscellaneous storage. There is a 1,656 square foot metal fabricated building with a dirt floor built in approximately 1979. The site is fenced. The owners have indicated that utility service is not actively connected at the Site. However, the property is serviced by electricity and natural gas from WE-Energies and storm and sanitary sewer through the City of Racine. The 2012 City of Racine assessed property value is 32,000.Initial development of the Site appears to be for residential purposes, historical Sanborn maps depict one residential dwelling present on the 1908 map. An additional residential dwelling appears on the 1933 Sanborn map. The exact Site use between 1933 and 1979 is unknown; but it is believed that the Site was used for residential purposes or vacant. In 1979 a large metal fabricated building was erected for storage purposes. The city directories list the property as being occupied by Betty Blue Enterprises landscaping in 1987, Blue Berryhill Enterprises landscaping in 1992, and vacant in 1997 which is the last listing for the address. The current owners of this portion of the Site took ownership in 2002 when their father willed it to them and it currently has a warehouse and equipment storage shed.
