Additional Property Attributes

Property was used as a gas station and convenience store from 1964 - 1989. Prior to the 1980s it also performed small automobile repair. The 4 USTs failed underground tests in 1989. The tanks, vent piping, and one dispenser island were removed in 1989, along with an unspecified volume of petroleum-contaminated soil. Three groundwater monitoring wells were installed and groundwater was tested periodically for a short time. Three additional groundwater monitoring wells were installed. Subsequent sampling conducted in May and November, 2011, indicated that groundwater contaminant levels were reduced below state water quality standards. NMED PSTB granted a status of No Further Action in May 2012.

Former Use: Property was previously used as a gas station and convenience store. Small automobile repairs were also performed. The tanks were removed in 1989. Pueblo of Zuni is working with a potential new property assignee. ACM has been removed from the existing building and it will be demolished.
