Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site was originally two lots, owned by Sta-Rite Industries from 1967-1984 where they manufactured brine tanks. Employees used solvents to clean the equipment and the waste solvents were then poured on the ground just north of the building. In January 1992, the Village Municipal Well #2 was found to be contaminated with hazardous substances. Eventually, the well was remediated and in 1999 the source soil was excavated and the lot backfilled. Hilleque Creative Laminates occupied the site at the time of source discovery, and closed their business in 1999. The building has been unoccupied since with no improvements.
