Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Kalispell Public School District #5 Auxiliary Services Building located at 514 East Washington Street in Kalispell, Montana. The Site consists the northeast portion of Block D in Duncan�s Addition, which encompasses 0.577 acres. The property has an existing 6,400 square foot, singlestory building that was originally constructed as an elementary school in 1950, but has since been converted to an auxiliary services/storage facility used by Kalispell Public Schools District #5. There is also a parking lot on the east end of the property. The original patent owner of the property in 1891 was Tyson Duncan, who sold the property to the Kalispell Townsite Company in 1898. The subject parcel along with additional land was transferred to Kalispell Public Schools in 1904. The existing building was constructed in 1950 and was the original location of Edgerton Elementary School. It later became the Laser alternative school (1990 to 2011), until the Kalispell Public Schools District #5 began using it as an Auxiliary Services Building to primarily store school supplies.
