Additional Property Attributes

Property was constructed in 1955, had additions in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, and has been used as a meatpacking (slaughter, processing, and packaging). It is currently vacant. Abatement of confirmed asbestos-containing building materials prior to building demolition, and a lead-based paint inspection prior to renovations that may impact lead-based paint are recommended.

Former Use: Former Meat Packing Plant, currently vacant. 1953 developed with a farmstead and associated buildings.The site was developed with the meat packing plant sometime between 1955 and 1963. An addition was made to the plant in 1993. The plant was shut down in 1995 and has been vacant since then. Former owners include Packerland Packing Company/Packerland Processing Company (1984), Stanko Packing Company (1977), Hersch Buildings Inc. (1965), Lockwood Grader Corporation (1957), Union Improvement Company (1946) and various private individuals.
