Additional Property Attributes

Site ownership is split, with some of the buildlings in active use and others vacant. To determine potential threats to health or the environment due to RECs, soil and groundwater sampling at historical grain elevator and storage areas, railroads on the property and along the southern boundary of the property, adjacent properties that may have caused contamination, and locations of at least three ASTs are recommended. A lead-based paint inspection prior to renovation that may impact lead-based paint, and abatement of confirmed asbestos-containing building materials prior to demolition are also recommended.

Former Use: The property was previously an agricultural industrial site and is now owned by the city.
