Additional Property Attributes

Property has been used as a tractor dealership and repair facility. Recommend soil and groundwater sampling to identify any contamination associated with (1) discharge of waste fluid from the work bay drains that occurred in the early 1990s, and (2) potential contamination that led to installation of two monitoring wells, to determine potential threats to health or the environment due to RECs. Lead-based paint and asbestos-containing building materials surveys are also recommended prior to any renovations or demolition. A Phase II environmental site assessment detected several VOCs and SVOCs in collected soil samples; however, all concentrations were below State Remediation Goals. The only compound that exceeded State limits was Diesel. Groundwater samples collected detected Diesel and VOCs above State limits. The site was activated for a Tier 1 investigation in 2015. The site exceeded the Tier 1 groundwater ingestion pathway for TEH as Diesel. A Tier II investigation was conducted and the site passed. The monitoring wells on site have been properly abandoned and the site closed. No further remedial action is required at this time.
