Additional Property Attributes

The Phase I ESA recommended further investigation based on the presence of off-and-on-site RECs. The City plans to acquire the parcels as part of a land swap agreement. City officials intend to redevelop the two lots into affordable infill housing units. The deal eliminates incongruent land uses in a predominately residential neighborhood and continues new construction momentum occurring in the neighborhood. The City plans to conduct the Phase II ESA during the spring of 2014.

Former Use: The parcel identified as 1027 Sycamore Street (PIN# 8913-25-137-011) contained a residential home from 1897-1900, was a vacant lot from 1906-1910, and has contained commercial development since 1912. Past uses include a beverage company from 1930-1935, a furnace company from 1942-1958, unlisted in 1963, a boiler repair business in 1968, �Local 838 Classroom� in 1973, no return in 1978, a repair shop in 1983, a cab company from 1988-1997, unlisted in 1998, and a construction contractor from 2003-present. The parcel identified as PIN# 8913-25-137-010 contained residential development from 1897-1968, was a vacant lot from 1970-1994, and a garage from 2000-present.
