Additional Property Attributes

Site was formerly used as a school prior to 2010 . The site includes one large building, asphalt playground and small courtyard. The site occupies and entire city block wihich has residences located across the street in every direction. An asbestos inspection was conducted in 1997 under (AHERA). The bulidng is approximately 31,600 sq ft in size and is three stories with a flat roof. The building has an operating steam boiler & gas furnace located near the librarty portion of hte building. The interior generally consits of plaster or sheetrock walls, floors covered with carpet, polished concrete, sheet vinyl, or vinyl tiles: and ceiling coverigns of plaster Hung tiles or sheetrock. The outdated facilty prevents the club from raising the membership cap to help more families in the community. The club recongizes the need to update and add on to the faciltiy to create a better environment to support the demand of current members and the community.

Former Use: The site was formerly used as a school until 2010 when bulding was acquired from the Havre Public Schools. The site has one large building, asphalt playground and small courtyard. The building was built in the early 1900's. Each year the Boys and Girls Club provides thousands of meals and snacks to their members at this locations.
