Additional Property Attributes

The KDHE conducted a Phase I Brownfields Targeted Assessment (BTA) on an 80 acre parcel of undeveloped land located approximately 4 to 5 miles west of Atchison. The BTA was completed for the City of Atchison and the Atchison Area Economic Development Corporation who intends to purchase the property for economic development and is necessary to fulfill the due diligence requirement prior to acquisition. Expansion of the Shannon Industrial Park located on the west adjoining property will provide economic opportunities for the local area. A Phase I BTA was completed in April 2014. Based on the Phase I report, no �Recognized Environmental Conditions� (RECs) were identified in connection with the subject property and the property is cleared for redevelopment.
