Additional Property Attributes

The City has received a Cleanup Grant for the Hercules Engines Property from the Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund and is working toward an NFA Letter, but the current remedial strategy proposes ground water sampling on the Hercules Engines site and the adjacent Canton Drop Forging Property (for which a Phase II has already been completed, dated 11/27/08 ). This sampling must be performed as soon as possible in order to satisfy the requested NFA deadline of June 2013 for the Hercules Engines Property.

Former Use: Broadview Development / White Motors Development currently owns the Property, and plans to develop the northern (Hercules) portion for mixed residential / commercial purposes, including convocation facilities.
