DEQ placed a deed notice on the property that included land use restrictions such as no residential, child occupied facilities, daily care, pre K-12 schools, or edible agriculture allowed in the indoor firing range.

Lead-based paint encapsulant was applied over lead-based paint on non-friction surfaces. The indoor firing range floors and walls, and floors where lead-based paint abatement was performed. Sealant and encapsulant should be periodically inspected and maintained.

Additional Property Attributes

The cleanup was performed by a State funded cleanup program. The building is being reused for the Eufaula police and fire department. The redevelopment start and end date were an approximation. The City provided the dollar amount. The UST was removed 9-10-97. The cleanup date used in ACRES is for the abatement of asbestos, lead-based paint, and lead dust.

Former Use: The property was used as a National Guard Armory. The armory was built in 1936.
