Former Use: Wastewater treatment plant (WWTP#1) was constructed in 1962 and operated by various private contractors until 1999 when it was decomissioned as operations were taken over by a new, larger plant. Some demo was performed in 2006. Owner, the City of Kenner is interested in completing demo and re-developing site for public use
