Additional Property Attributes

The commercial building located on-site was planned for demolition due to the expansion of Stadium Drive. The Phase I ESA identified RECs on and off-site. The Phase II identified chlorinated solvents in the soils and groundwater above TRRP Action Levels on the western portion of the site, but the eastern portion of the site that the City of Arlington was purchasing was non detect for VOCs in the soil and groundwater. An asbestos survey was conducted and the identified ACM was abated prior to demolition of the on-site structure.

Former Use: Historically, the site consisted of vacant land until 1972, when the current on-site structure was constructed. The site has been occupied by Oil State Warehouse (1972); Warehouse Service Auto Parts (1972-1982); Vandergriff Chevrolet (1988); and Semco Unlimited, A. Davis (1998) and most recently as storage. Based on their potential unknown chemical usage and/or hazardous waste management activities, the Oil State Warehouse, Warehouse Service Auto Parts and Vandergriff Chevrolet historically located on-site constitute RECs to the site.
