A deed restriction which provides protective notification regarding contact with contaminated groundwater to future landowners and specifically provides the following notifications and restrictions: a restriction to prohibit groundwater extraction for use as a potable water source; a restriction to prohibit the property usage for residential purposes and for commercial property usage that provides daily care to humans (i.e. daycare facilities, nursing homes, etc.); a restriction to prohibit use of groundwater and prohibits removal of the concrete slab under the building without permission of ADEQ.

On June 10, 2016, Midwest Barrier Solutions, a certified Liquid Boot vapor installer, installed the vapor barrier system at the property. After installation, air sampling was performed. The smoke test field report demonstrates complete quality control and efficacy at the conclusion of installation. On June 23, 2016, ADEQ did a field inspection of the vapor barrier system. A concrete topping was also installed over the vapor barrier system.
