Additional Property Attributes

Recognized Environmental Conditions include former use as an auto repair and hauling service and junk yard; former auto repair facility; former dry cleaning and various manufacturing facilities located at adjoining property.

Former Use: Located in a commercial/light industrial area of St. Louis, Missouri, the subject site consists of approximately 0.86 acres of land and has been developed since at least 1875. The subject site is currently unoccupied with a former auto repair shop that is currently used for storage at 1202 South 7th Boulevard. The former auto repair shop was constructed in 1945. The additional parcels were formerly developed by residential and small commercial buildings. These buildings were all primarily demolished between the late 1970s and mid-1980s. The most recent occupant of the subject property included the Henderson Junk Yard. Surrounding properties have been developed since at least 1875 and have included Mound Tool Company, Tool & Die Works, Canvas Products and Athletic Equipment Manufacturer, Mercantile Warehouse, Malony Electric Company, Clean Uniform Store, a filling station, furniture manufacturers and warehouses, small laundry facilities, and residences.
