Additional Property Attributes

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) conducted a Phase I Brownfields Targeted Assessment (BTA) on a residential property located at 1012 NW Harrison Street in Topeka, KS. Due to the location of the property within an industrial and commercial area, there was a potential concern for off-site contaminant sources. The BTA was conducted for the City, who intends to rehabilitate the property with up to $300,000 in assistance through the Department of Neighborhood Relations. Based on the Phase I report, no Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) have been identified in connection with the BTA property, and the property is cleared for redevelopment.
