Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site was undeveloped in 1875. Crooksville China, a pottery manufacturer, operated at the Site (and part of the north adjacent property) from 1902 until 1959. The pottery manufacturing was conducted in a large building, primarily housing kilns, that covered the western portion of the Main Tract and several smaller buildings located on the eastern portion of the Main Tract. Soil disturbances noted on the west-northwestern portion of the Undeveloped Tract and very eastern part of the Main Tract on 1950 and 1960 aerial photographs indicate that pottery waste may have been disposed on the Site. The pottery buildings were demolished between 1965 and 1971. Then the current buildings were constructed by Coachman Industries who manufactured campers/camper parts at the Site up until 1974. The Site was occupied by TRW from 1974 to 1986 and by PCC Airfoils from 1986 to 2009. Operations conducted by these companies included: metal grinding/polishing, cleaning, finishing, inspecting/repairing. The Site has been vacant since PCC Airfoils moved out.
