Additional Property Attributes

The Baseball Fields property, which is a part of a multi-parcel cluster in Follansbee, is a key property in the regional Brooke-Hancock Brownfields Redevelopment Program. The other parcels, all of which are in close proximity to each other, include a major chain drug store, which is anticipated to open in the fall of 2006, the Follansbee Recreation Complex, and Follansbee East Parcel. This property is being made available for redevelopment due to the relocation of the ball fields to the planned Recreation Complex. The land for the Recreation Complex was donated by the Wheeling Pittsburg Steel Corporation, one of several major corporate redevelopment partners. (PPF - Baseball Fields, 3/20/06)
