Additional Property Attributes

Follansbee plans to redevelop the Undeveloped Acreage property into athletic fields for the city�s peewee football league and Little League baseball teams and facilities for other sports, such as basketball and soccer. The City of Follansbee is exploring the possibility of making the property an indoor facility so activities can be held year-round. The Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corporation has also indicated plans to discuss the possibility of leasing a small section of property adjacent to the property for the development of a walking trail. After an evaluation of approximately 40 properties, this property has been identified by economic and real estate experts as a priority redevelopment property for the region.
